Birthday Party Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance can I book my party?

All parties must be booked a minimum of 14 days in advance, and a maximum of 1 year.

How many guests can I make the party reservation for?

There is an 8 person minimum charge for all parties.

Do I need to put down a deposit?

Yes. All parties require a $100 deposit.

Is the $100 deposit refundable?

Deposits are non-refundable.

What if I need to reschedule?

If you need to reschedule, you must provide at least 10 days’ notice. Your deposit will be applied to any available date and time within the next two months of the original date selected. Any party rescheduled with less than 10 days’ notice will forfeit their deposit.

Can I change the time of my party?

Unfortunately, we cannot alter the time of the parties. You will need to reschedule (see above).

What if I need to change the number of guests?

A minimum of 48 hours is required to increase or decrease the number of guests attending. You must call the center to make these changes 717-755-2946.

What if I want to adjust the add-ons after I make the reservation?

A minimum of 48 hours is required to adjust the add-ons to your package. You must call the center to make these changes 717-755-2946.

If less than 8 attend, can we pay less?

No, they are set packages. There is an 8 person minimum charge for all parties.

Can we bring outside food?

NO outside food or beverage is permitted with the exception of cake / cupcakes. We have a full service snack bar and lounge.

Can I order additional food items after I arrive at Laser Alleys on the day of my event?

Due to the high volume of Birthday Parties, additional food items must be ordered during the booking process. This ensures your entire food order will be served at the same time during your party. In fairness to other customers, if you do not order additional food items during the booking process you will be required to place your order for additional food items at the snack bar. There is no guarantee that you will receive your food by the end of your party.

Can Laser Alleys store food for me?

No. Per the PA Department of Health, we are not allowed to store any outside food items such as ice cream cakes and/or ice cream.

What is the length of the party?

All parties are 2 hours which includes bowling, laser tag, food/cake, and gift opening.

What happens if all my guests haven’t arrived by my party time?

Your party will start promptly at the scheduled time. Please tell your guest to arrive 10 minutes early as the party will not be held up to wait for late guests. All parties are on a strict 2 hour schedule.

Where will my party be set-up?

All parties that include bowling will be set-up near your bowling lanes. Laser tag only parties will be set-up in a party room.

What is the party place setting?

If your party includes a host/hostess, they will set-up your party with the basic party set-up. This includes table cloths, cups, silverware, birthday plates and napkins, along with your personalized souvenir pin.

What type of seating will there be for guests that not part of the package?

Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee seating for everyone, only for the number included in the party reservation. We do have additional seating areas available throughout the center.

Is there an age requirement to play laser tag?

Yes. You must be 6+ to play laser tag.

How many people can play in a game of laser tag?

Between 14 and 18 people. This number varies depending on how many vests are available at the time of your party.
